Carmen Wisenbaker, “The Publicity Diva”
~ Author/Speaker
~ Marketing & Blogging Specialist
About Me:
I’m Carmen Wisenbaker, President of Penworth Marketing (also known as, The Publicity Diva). I’m an author, speaker, marketing and blogging specialist. I have more than 35 years of experience and I work best with talented people that are a little “quirky,” uniquely different, and have a burning desire (and attitude) to be the “Industry Authority” at what they do.
I’m the author of many books, special reports, journals, and e-books, and an ongoing contributing writer for Yahoo! I’m frequently interviewed as the expert by reporters, and in the last few years, have been the guest on more than 650+ (and counting) radio and TV stations across the country.
What I love doing the most, though, is helping my clients use their time and money on the right marketing that is perfect for them, targeted to the right people that will buy from them. My specialty is from the “Un” advertising side of marketing… blogging, article syndication, video marketing, and social interaction campaigns.
I have taught marketing classes at the University of Houston, Lonestar College – Kingwood, the Lifelong Learning Center, and through various corporate sponsored workshops nationwide.
In 1995 and 2006, I was chosen as the Business Associate of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association. In 2006, I served as President of the Women Of Vision Express Network, and in 2006 and 2008, was chosen as their Woman of the Year. In 2011, I was the Past President of the Friday Morning Networking group, and am currently the Chair of the Lake Houston Chamber’s Seminar Committee, and am on the Board of Directors with the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce.
2011 Honors: Penworth Marketing was nominated as the Small Business of the Year with the Lone Star College Small Business Development Center.
